Darshana Boricha, DPT

Dr. Boricha began practicing Physical Therapy in 2015 after completing her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Mumbai, India. She began working in an inpatient setting for 6 months as she wanted to develop hands-on skills and work with post-surgical conditions. Afterwards she gained additional experience by working in an Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports setting. Dr. Boricha took her skills and applied them as she was named Lead Physical Therapist for the Great India Marathon; which covered 6 cities and a distance of 1440 kilometers. She has also served on the State Cricket and Soccer teams as a Physical Therapist. This is when her interest grew in the field of Sports Physical Therapy.

Dr. Boricha completed an 8-day Mulligan Mobilization Program to enhance her hands-on skills which has been especially useful to treat spinal conditions. She is also versed with treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She completed her Doctors in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Boricha gained valuable experience from working directly for the DPT Program Director during her doctorate program where she gained valuable, extensive knowledge to apply to her PT patients and career.

Dr. Boricha is thrilled to join the CAM Physical Therapy and Wellness Services LLC team and is excited to work with the patients in the Silver Spring office.
