Dr. Monroe initially became interested in Physical Therapy while attending the University of Virginia. During this time, he was completing his Bachelor of Science in Education majoring in Kinesiology with a Sports Medicine concentration. While completing coursework hours, working under a Physical Therapist, he was able to see the changes in numerous patient's quality of life as well as the joy that the effects of Physical Therapy provided. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2016. He has spent most of his time and experience managing as well as treating in the outpatient and home-health settings.
Dr. Monroe has continued his education since completing school with numerous certifications. He is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT), is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), and is also skilled in Cupping and kinesiology taping techniques. He uses these skills as a part of his Physical Therapy "toolbox" to give the best care possible that is catered to each patient's needs. His greatest interest includes treating musculoskeletal conditions, but he is also experienced in treating neurological conditions, chronic conditions, as well as numerous other diagnoses.

Dr. Monroe enjoys spending his free time working out, watching movies, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
