Dr. Aluvathingal was born and raised in India before moving with her family to the United States in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in 2010, and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2013.

Dr. Aluvathingal is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist who enjoys treating patients across the adolescent to geriatric population for orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. She has a special interest in incorporating Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) into comprehensive treatment plans, alongside progressive therapeutic exercise and patient education to promote long-term independence and self-management.

Committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Aluvathingal combines evidence-based practice with ongoing clinical experience and continuing education to provide the highest quality treatment. She also serves as a clinical instructor for future physical therapists and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of clinicians. She strives to instill the importance of patient-centered care, lifelong learning, and staying current with evolving clinical research and best practices.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Aluvathingal enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her two daughters, as well as traveling, hiking, listening to music, and watching her favorite TV shows. As someone from a multicultural background, she values the diversity of the community she serves and is proud to contribute to their health and well-being through her profession.
