Dr. Carlos A. Martinez began his Physical Therapy career in 1987 when he enlisted into the United States Air Force where he worked as a Physical Therapy Specialist. He went on to receive his Associates in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 1991. Carlos was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1993 and continued his education. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with honors in 1995. In August 2017 he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Martinez specializes in Orthopaedics and Industrial Rehabilitation and has an extensive background in various musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Dr. Martinez is a member of Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and College of Allied Health Sciences National Honor Society. He is a member in good standing of the American Physical Therapy Association where he is also a member of the Orthopaedic and Private Practice Sections. He has worked in the workers' compensation industry for over 20 years and has worked closely with physicians, nurse case managers, vocational rehabilitation specialists, insurance adjusters and attorneys.
